Baby Benjamin

On Saturday, March 19th, Chris and I had the pleasure of meeting Baby Ben for the first time! As some of you may remember, his big sis, Mattie, was the subject of our very first photo shoot. So, of course, we had to make sure we got a few photos of the newest addition to the Vietti family. I'm not quite done with the photos, but I wanted to give the proud parents (and all of you in the Blogosphere) a sneak peek of some of what I have so far~

Pregger Portraits

May 22nd:

Chris and I (AKA J&C Photography) took photos of Chris' sis, Misty, her baby bump and her husband at Central Park in Frisco, TX. If you've never been, Central Park is the perfect spot to just take a stroll, have a picnic or, in our case, a photo shoot.

Blooming Bluebonnets

This past weekend was beautifully blue! We had our first bluebonnet photo shoot with the one and only Matelyn Vietti. There's a huge bluebonnet field right next to where Matt (Mattie's dad) and I work so we thought it would be the perfect location for Miss Mattie's 18-month photos.

Angelque & Hunter: The Engagement Photos

I've decided to debut a few of the photos I took of my love-struck friends on March 14th. The happy couple asked if I could take their engagement photos so they could have a few to display at their May 1st wedding. I was more than happy (and honored) to fulfill their request.

Preparing for Ryan's Big Shindig!

So, my beautiful buddy, Ryan, is having a big birthday celebration to ring in her 29th year and she asked if I could help with one of the many cute ideas she had for her bash. Basically, she is going to have a photo of herself holding a paper with each guest's name on it (as shown above and below), place it in a frame and that will the name place card for everyone. Great idea, right?!

Chris, Ryan and I drove to downtown McKinney and had our shoot at various locations in the square. Although we started a tad later than we hoped (meaning I had to take more than half of the photos in the dark with my flash), I'm still pleased with the results. Now I just need to finish editing them so they'll be ready for her party next weekend.

We can't wait, Ryan!!! :) 9/9/09 and 29! Woo! Hoo!

Mattie's Turning ONE!

So next week Miss Matelyn Vietti will be turning the big 0-1! Matt and Ginny (her parents and our friends) asked if we would be interested in taking a couple photos for her upcoming birthday bash. Being that she was our very first model, Chris and I had to do something to show our appreciation so we, of course, said yes!

As usual, she was her lovely, bubbly self and totally working it for the camera. I'm still working on the last few, but here's a taste of her birthday shoot :

Not to brag, but I think this photo deserves to be in a baby ad. She is SO CUTE!

Trust me, there are SO many good shots of her, but my blog was not cooperating with me in getting them loaded so I just picked my two personal favs...

Thanks to Matt and Ginny for allowing Chris and I to be such a big part in capturing Mattie's special moments. :)

Photo Shoot: Jacob :)

Today, J&C Photography met Sarah, Andy and their cutie son, Jacob, at the Dallas Arboretum for Jacob's nine month photos. Seeing as it's been so hot lately, I was a little worried Mr. Jacob may not be too excited to take photos.

Lucky for us, Jacob was as cool as could be! He flashed that little smile to Chris over and over, making the job easy for us. :) We couldn't have asked for a better shoot (well, maybe if it weren't as hot and humid...).

Beautiful Bridals

On Sunday, June 21st, Chris and I (AKA, J&C Photography) took Misty's bridal portraits! It was our first chance to take bridals and I'm so happy my sis-in-law was my first subject. :) Misty did a great job and looked be-a-utiful. :)
